Wichita Pug Rescue dog

Meet Lizzy a just turned 1 year old female Pug.  Lizzy is a special case, she has 2 heart conditions that are not treatable.  She has been to K-State Cardiology and nothing can be done.  She may live 1 year or 10, there is no way to tell.  Once she starts to show signs of failure, there are medications to help her breath.  She shows no signs of heart failure at this time and is very active and loves loves loves to give kisses.  We are not asking for a fee for her, just the perfect home for her to live out what time she has.  You will need to fill out an application and be approved like any other adoption.

Boomer is looking for someone to give him a home. Boomer has the beginning of hip dysplasia. He is doing well, can go up and down stairs and gets around without much trouble. He is a quiet, sweet boy looking to spend his final years with a loving family. Boomer is 8 years old but acts much younger. He weighs in at about 25 pounds. He gets along with other dogs and cats. He will be up to date on shots and neutered.
Side note: One of our long term residents came in with hip dysplasia 6 years ago and his condition has not changed. He does stairs and gets along just fine. We hope that Boomers will progress as slowly but if he ever needs a wheel cart, we will provide one free of charge. Boomers adoption fee is $100
